San Diego St* @ New Mexico +1.5 SDSU is 21-8 and 14-2 in MW. RPI of 59 and SOS 80. Really need a win on the road to keep their chances alive SDSU BLEW OUT NEW MEXICO
Kentucky @ Florida* +3.5 Florida 17-12 and 8-8 in SEC. RPI of 46 and SOS 10. Can't imagine Florida getting in with a SEC losing record FLORIDA LOSES
Tennessee @ Vandy* -13 Vandy 18-11 and 10-6 in SEC. RPI of 49 and SOS 47. A loss here at home to Tennessee would be very damaging VANDY WINS

Everyone should look at the 3 and 12 record against the Chickenhawks and think about what that record have been if the teams would have played more often during the Stallworth ears, the Smithson-Carr-Levingston years, the Turgeon years, and the Marshall years. What would the record actually be if they had chose to play during these periods instead of cherry picking years when the program was always down. I guarantee the record would look much better and be more representative of where the teams actually are historically. Because the Gayhawks chose to hide up in Lowrents during all the those years I will never have any respect for them or their program. I am sure if Marshall would ever chose to leave they will rush to start another series in Lawrence of course.

I'm far from a 'KU hater' (I get disgusted at some of them); you make some great points here. I've argued the same points in the past. Many moons ago the Valley (The Valley of Death) was one of the best, if not the best conferences in America. KU didn't want anything to do with us during that era. Of course they would have been tough to beat during the "Wilt the Stilt" years ('56-'58).

There you go Henry. That's the face of any local b12/ku honk, even here locally. In the case of The Shockers it's moreso "patronizing", and in the case of The Wildcats it's resentment because of their superior tradition. It happens even on our local sports-talk program.

Just gotta' fight fire with fire sometimes. Let the results do the talking, and not the metrics.
