I am a Kansan. WSU is my team, but I want to see KU and K-State do well, too. Unless they're playing the Shockers. One of my good friends is a judge who follows KU to the B12 tourney and managed to get tickets to the games in Omaha last year. He bleeds blue. He avoided me for a week after the 78-65, but he'll support the Shockers as long as they're not playing his Jayhawks. We share a love of college hoops and the desire to see the schools from our home state do well. Is there some rule that says you have to hate KU to be a member in good standing here?

I suppose if they had just kept Barry, they probably wouldn't be in the play in game, and they would have made it to at least as many NCAA's as they have without him. Plus, they would have saved some buyout money. There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body.
