OSU's 2 best players aren't playing. They are still ahead. In this game at least, they look the part of a team that could lose to Missouri State. And they are still ahead of #13 Iowa State.

Just heard on the Drake vs UNI game that Drakes recruiting plan is stay within a 3 hr radius of Des Moines.

Now that UNI has won and MoState has lost to Evansville, the MVC standings are finally sorted properly. There is actually a really tight race forming for Thursday too. There is only a separation of two games between 2nd place and Thursday.

Oddly enough, literally any team 2-10 could be playing on Thursday still. I wouldn't put it past SIU, Illinois State, Indiana State or Missouri State to implode. I think its most likely that UE, UNI and ISUb will avoid Thursday, though. We have some obvious bad teams that can't get out, but it's anybody's guess who will be left in that #7 spot.

Close relative was a D1 coach and I remember him saying Gallagher Iba was one of the toughest places to play.

Close friend played at OU and said the same thing.

I think after they raised the roof and made it 16k or whatever instead of 6k it took some of the atmosphere away. Although they have had a lot of court storms over the past few years.

Even if they win out, the only at large bid they will get is to the CBI. I would be really surprised if they make the NIT even if they win out. That would be a close call.

That's just hilarious. I guess throwing a home win or two together and wrapping it up with a W over Drake really knows how to inspire a fanbase.
