Besides the Texas A&M loss, another good result last night was St. Mary's losing at BYU. That should eliminate them from any 4/5 seed discussion, meaning WSU's odds of getting into that range are ever so slightly higher. Even with their weak schedule, a 30-2 St. Mary's would have been interesting. Now, with 3 losses, I think they are capped around a 6 seed, and only if they beat Gonzaga two more times to go 3-0 on the season. They needed something better than a non conf SOS in the 200s if they wanted to really take advantage of a seemingly good team they have this year.Comment

Evansville isn't as good as St. Mary's. Safe to say they are an NIT team regardless of the non-conf schedule. They are having a good year by their standards, but they just aren't an NCAA level team. No scheduling tweaks would have fixed that.Originally posted by ShockdaWorld View PostComment
