The SEC is better than the BIG EAST, in every metric laid out. And time talking everything, from television deals to national championships.

If you wanna isolate it out to a year-by-year case, then in 2006 I can fully unequivocally state that without question that the Valley was better than the Big 12. Period.

What are you trying to argue exactly? That at this very point in time the BIG EAST has more ranked teams than the SEC? Ok.

Regardless, the BIG EAST sucks.

IMO there are three teams vying for an at large: UNI, UE, and WSU. UE won't have the marquee wins unless they steal them from the Panthers or the Shox...thereby eliminating that team from a bid. WSU has an entire resume to build, of which we have stacked the bracket in "quality" losses, but will need some quality wins. UNI just needs to win a lot of games. They've got the big win already.

Three bids will require the third place team beating two excellent teams in St Louis.

Tiny little mouse balls? Nah. Likely? Nope.

I just want to take this moment to point something out about our losses and their current RPI's... And I know it's early and all, but this was nice to see:

Tulsa - 58
Alabama - 60

I don't think any of these are going to be "bad losses" down the road.
