What they ever saw in Lusk is beyond me. The dude was only semi-successful with Martin's players, and now he's just showing the world how bad he really is. He can't even keep his own players now.

Lusk is one of, if not the worst coach in the MVC right now.

I enjoy taking a dump on MSU but I almost feel really sorry for just how far they've fallen.

Never in my life have I actually wished that a referee would just stop a game and make it end until last year's 78-35 walloping in the Roundhouse.

The only one better was in the 2014 MVC tournament, where we went on a 24-0 run in the second half and led the Bares 61-23. HCGM cleared the bench with about nine minutes to go, resulting in a mere 25 point victory at 67-42. We weren't standing on their throats, we were standing squarely on their grapes (which can be quite painful).

    • Maybe not the correct thread...but....

Aarias Austin transferring out of UNI at semester. He was averaging 13.3mpg/5.4ppg/1.8rpg and shooting 39% from 3. He was a JuCo transfer. This probably leaves UNI 8 deep unless they pull a redshirt.

CEDAR FALLS — The Northern Iowa men’s basketball team suffered two losses this weekend — though just one came on …

      • Performance wise, that will hurt the Panthers. I don't know attitude wise, is this a case of addition by subtraction?

No indication that he was a problem from Coach Jacobson but I guess you never know for sure. Sounds like he just wants to go where he can play. Who knows he may go D-II. Doesn't sound like a big loss. Whether it proves to be a positive or not remains to be seen. My guess is it won't make a lof of difference one way or the other.

          • He did have some off-court issues in the summer, but who knows. This puts them with basically 8 guys. Tough spot. Especially since they have not yet played their MTE, and will travel and then play 3 games in 4 days at Diamondhead in Hawaii. Things could go south quickly.

It may not hurt them now .. unless someone gets injured. Then you are talking a 7 man rotation. If a 2nd gets injured? ......

I think if even one of the 8 gets injured it may force Coach Jacobson's hand in breaking a redshirt. Something he considered with this departure but decided against at this point.

                • I was thinking predominately at depth (fouls to give) and a respectable 3 point percentage, but mostly it was bench depth as he did play 1/3 of the game at 13.3 minutes. Of course, if he was a decent defensive stopper/glue guy then it will certainly hurt them.

Yes, I can look back at the dream team in 92 and assume that based off that, the US will win every basketball in history.

The stats from this year suggest this: Wichita St is useless when not at Koch Arena, their only road win coming against a Bilikins team which lost to Morehead St by 14.

They play 9 MVC games on the road. I see them winning 3 of them.

This dude just got back from Colorado no doubt about it.

It is more likely that more players transfer out of that team and the coach gets fired than WSU losing 6 games in conference this year...

                          Probably still there.

                          • To be fair, I also see WSU winning 3 road games in the league this year.

                              LMAO.

Those Redturd fans try so hard. What an ignorant little bag of feces.

Somebody remind him of WSU's road record the last 5 years. Better yet, somebody remind him the last time his Redturds beat WSU on their home court.

Good luck staying out of Thursday night, doucherockets.

                              ... No really, deuces.

Very true. I didn't think about the "at least" possibility of his statement.
