Yes, better than the MVC. No. In regards to RPI, W/L, bids, revenue. Even TV coverage for the Big East is better than the MVC as a whole, but if you want that, I will give it to you. The MVC is better than the Big East in TV coverage.

Bids aren't the best way to measure conference aptitude. The committee is too screwy a lot of the time and they've gotten their fair share of bubble bids that sway the results.

How would you like to measure the MVC and the Big East? Also, if the selection committee is too screwy, why do you put down some MVC teams for not making the dance?

The BIG EAST sucks and I'm not envious of it. There are some good programs in it, like Nova, G-town, Xavier, and Butler. After that, meh. The previous BIG EAST was a major conference. No doubt about that.

The BE sucks. Got it! But four of their teams are really good. Okay, I think I got it? The Valley isn't as good as the Big East, which sucks, but only because 40% of their conference is really good.

Fever thinks somehow that BE isn't as good as power five and is closer to the MVC. He agrees the MVC is worse, yet thinks the BE is the notch on the ladder above the MVC. Personally, I don't see how, but that's what Mr. Right thinks. I figure the SEC atleast is considered worse than BE. To Fever his own fictional lens.

I personally think that a lot of the so called Power 5 conferences are overrated. There is garbage in all of them and the top teams in several mid majors would skunk the mid to bottom of the power 5 on a regular basis.

I still hold that the Big 12 be the most overrated until someone not named KU wins it.

Creighton is not on par with any of the old Big East teams. I dont know if they ever will. I mean. There has to be a perennial cellar dweller, even in the power 5 conferences....

You're too harsh. Creighton is most certainly on par with some of the old BE teams. Exhibit A: I give you DePaul.
