Good win for UNI, I like the job Jacobson has done and the fact that he has stayed means alot for the league. How many good coaches have moved on for what they thought were greener pastures. Well they probably were but for the MVC to be a solid league the schools need to find ways to keep the good coaches and create stability...

How many rebuilding years have they had now?

This will be the 3rd with Giacoletti and I would say his mess is harder than Marshall's to clean up. They got rid of Phelps within an acceptable time frame so I will allow them this year of sucking before I get annoyed with them.

I actually thought they might be reasonable this year. I'm disappointed.

yes. At the time WSU wa #4 and the highest ranked team to ever visit (and lose) in the McLeod. Also, as I recall it was the first ever top 10 (or 15) matchup to ever occur too. Moons were aligned last year.

This year...honestly, while us diehards love our Cats, most would say keeping todays game respectable would have been a nice moral win. Still a lot of season left, but if we can find consistent post play it could be a fun season. Our back up post player did a tremendous job in the 2nd half on Meeks. Our shooters came through as well. Bohannon's 3 where he thought for a second and then decided to pull the trigger only brings back memories of beating KU in '09 on the dagger 3.

Our weak point is our lack of depth. We are RS all 4 freshmen (1-2 could have probably contributed this year).
