Evansville pulling away from SEMO. I know it's early, and I know you can't judge by watching two ESPN3 games on your phone, but SIU looked better than E-Ville.There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

I realize you have to start somewhere, but my goodness, Florida A&M is beyond awful.
Saluki RS Fr Armon Fletcher has a nice motor. Definitely a positive for SIU.
Quickly remembering why SIU home games are completely unwatchable. Their PA guy is more annoying than ...well....he's annoying.

SLU is ahead of a not-terrible Hartford team by 10 with 5ish minutes to go.
Nevada plays another winnable neutral court game against Montana State in ten minutes.
NMSU hosts New Mexico at 8 PM in a big game for both teams.
Our OOC foes have fared pretty well in the opening weekend. It is counterintuitive to care much about our lesser OOC foes playing against other 'meh' teams, but winning those is just as important to SOS as games like Utah vs. San Diego State. The less 250+ RPI grenades the better obviously.
The MVC fared okay as well this weekend. SIU and Bradley pulled some minor upsets and UNI lost one it probably should have won, and ISUb lost a home game where it was a slight underdog heading into the tip. The rest went as expected.
