It definitely feels weird to watch a college basketball game on TV that is at a gym that has a stage behind one of the baselines.

Evansville pulling away from SEMO. I know it's early, and I know you can't judge by watching two ESPN3 games on your phone, but SIU looked better than E-Ville.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

Here's another pic of the game that includes the student section of the team picked second in the Valley.

Looks like their student section when they play in the MVC Tourney in STL. This makes me sad.

I would say beyond believable, but that wouldn't really be true.

I realize you have to start somewhere, but my goodness, Florida A&M is beyond awful.

Saluki RS Fr Armon Fletcher has a nice motor. Definitely a positive for SIU.

Quickly remembering why SIU home games are completely unwatchable. Their PA guy is more annoying than ...well....he's annoying.

Evansville deserves to be chastised. On the other hand, NC State from the powerful ACC is playing on ESPNU in a half full arena.

We, WSU, are an exception, not the rule.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

                      From the UE box score:

                      Balentine - 4/14 FG, 2/6 3FG, 10/12 FT
                      A - 3,893
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

                        Deuces Valley.
                        ... No really, deuces.

He played a lot as did little Simmons.

Not even. 39. No, really. That's not a joke.

                            1 rebound, 6 assists, 4 TO's.

SLU is ahead of a not-terrible Hartford team by 10 with 5ish minutes to go.

Nevada plays another winnable neutral court game against Montana State in ten minutes.

NMSU hosts New Mexico at 8 PM in a big game for both teams.

Our OOC foes have fared pretty well in the opening weekend. It is counterintuitive to care much about our lesser OOC foes playing against other 'meh' teams, but winning those is just as important to SOS as games like Utah vs. San Diego State. The less 250+ RPI grenades the better obviously.

The MVC fared okay as well this weekend. SIU and Bradley pulled some minor upsets and UNI lost one it probably should have won, and ISUb lost a home game where it was a slight underdog heading into the tip. The rest went as expected.

Not even close. He only played 39 minutes.
