So Butler just beat The Citadel 144-71.

Even with the change to a 30 second shot clock, just how little shot clock did The Citadel use? They took 47 attempts from 3 (only making 10) and were out rebounded by 40. I'm sure the 20 turnovers didn't help either.

I heard they want to play a fast-paced offense. Looks to me they're trying to be Loyola Marymount 1990, with a quarter of the skill. Just nutty.

The two teams did have a 54 PF (28/26). Butler made 48-62 inside the arc for .774.

Kentucky in games against Albany and NJIT played Ulis and Murray 68 and 62 minutes total. As for former Shocker recruit Mulder, he has found himself buried behind others as well with a total 5 minutes. Not quite as bleak for Humphries who, being a freshman, could find himself getting more minutes than the 13 in 2 games so far.

Yes, but think about how many more possessions there were in that game compared to ours, yet ours still have 12 more fouls called. The Butler/Citadel game had 162 combined FG attempts and 60 combined FT attempts. Ours had 105 combined FG attempts and 71 combined FT attempts.

No kidding. Right after I turned it on, I literally did a double take and checked the court to see if they were at home.

That is a very small looking gym that Seton Hall plays in. I also caught some of the DePaul game and they were playing in a small gym too. I guess some of these Big East teams are saving some rental money on these early season games.
