I'm taking a look at Barry's year-by-year head coaching record and him getting fired by SWOMO was even more ridiculous than I had remembered. SIU taking 2nd and going something like 25-6 and playing in front of a thousand SIU fans in St. Louis while SWOMO goes 7-23 and plays in front of the player's families in St. Louis would be beyond amazing.

Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

... No really, deuces.

UNI goes from a 36 beatdown of Bradley at home, their largest margin of victory over a Valley foe EVER, to losing at SIU in a game they were really never in until late.
Outside of the state of Iowa, that team sucks eggs. Yes, SIU is improved, but they are a totally different team outside of their home state.
This was SIU's first opponent against a Top 100 team since November 24th. They are decent to good, but their schedule is Evansville-esque.Deuces Valley.

If those are your goals, you aren't that worried about your rpi or your schedule strength. And you will be more than prepared to compete against MVC competition when January hits. It's just more of the same thing you faced up until that point. Unfortunately we are one of the very few teams thinking on a higher level than that.

Creighton is playing Villanova on some obscure channel.
I read their message board. They're really excited about playing so many ranked conference games all the time. Unfortunately, that means big double-digit losses at home against said ranked teams. But hey, at least they're playing them!Deuces Valley.
