Shocker fan for life after witnessing my first game in person, the 80-74 win over the #12 Creighton Bluejays at the Kansas Coliseum.
How in the world is Hawaii a 4 point favorite on UNI tonight? I know it's hard to beat Hawaii on the island, but they haven't beaten anyone close to UNI's level this season.
And UNI hasn't beaten anyone as good as UH outside of Iowa.
It's tough to win on the road.
Iowa State is HUGELY overrated. Good team, and taking nothing away from the great job Ben does at UNI. Their team is again playing at a level far greater than the sum of their parts.
I like UNI to win, but UH being favored isn't a stunner.

Fair enough. If I was in Vegas though, I'd be all over UNI +4. I guess I'll have to come back later tonight and eat crow if they don't cover.
Crucial game for UNI. Win gets them OU. That would be 3 top 10 teams they have played on the year. If they manage to win that, 12 wins in the Valley would likely get them in, but even if they don't it will help shine up their resume and RPI come Selection Sunday.
A decent chance all of our nonconference opponents and conference opponents win tonight. Mo State has to make a comeback on 0-10 SE Mo State first.

Are you kidding me? Really?
SEMO beats the Bears?
Seriously?
I gave up on ridiculing Missouri State, it was too easy, but this is ridiculous!
Casey needs to explain this one. I mean, SEMO? I thought SMS was going to the Sun Belt, not SEMO.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.
Every Valley team wins, one C-USA, err, Sun Belt team loses.
