Vote threshold is a lot lower this week. Last week #22 had 322 points. This week it's us at 151, only 2 ahead of #23 Oregon, and 177 behind #21 Purdue

As annoying as the Cyclone fanbase is, I hope ISU rips KU a new hole tonight.

I wonder if we lost to the #143-RPI team on the road by even just 1 point, if we would fall just one spot in the poll. I can't even imagine the result if we got straight-up boat-raced while dealing with no injuries. I don't wonder enough to find out, but I do wonder. As crappy as the Valley is, WSU still has 5/10 games remaining against teams with a better RPI, not to mention a crappier team that managed to win AT said 143rd team. I think we can now all agree that those count as quality opponents/wins.

I think you're probably right. I actually think we are probably quite a ways under ranked for what we CAN do, but I can't complain too much based on what we HAVE done.

Well, we dropped from #10 to #20 losing at Tulsa (now #57 compared to OSU #135) by 10 with a hobbling Fred, no Conner and no Shamet.

KU needs to hurry up and get to 9 quality losses so they can be a 1 or 2 seed in the tourny.

It would just be another "quality loss" that would keep KU in the top 5 and move ISU back to the top 10. KU can lose as many games as they want. They ARE the metric. How many losses can you have and still be a 1-2 seed? Depends. How many has KU lost.

I have the usual complaints about certain teams but overall this feels fine. We have plenty of opportunity to keep moving up if we take care of biz.
