Me. I've had tickets for 10 years and I may not get to go. My wife has vertigo and can't be in the upper bowl.

No way my wife will sit in the upper bowl and we can't order until Thursday. Corporate bandwagon wins again? Wine and dine your customers while "Joe attend every game" is shut out.

I would suggest that if (big if) the corporate guys are buying more than their season ticket quantity that is an inequity. If the Guardians and other high level SASO members are relinquishing their purchase codes to others that is also something that needs to be addressed.

I'm not going to ask for a code, but if someone that has a code happens to accidentally buy a couple of extra tickets, I'd certainly be willing to drop a little cash to help them out from under those accidental overs. :)

I'm going to take a shade of exception here. Not all corporates are bandwagon types. I've had tickets since about '75. Lived off my parents as a kid, then student tickets, bought my own best as I could as a young adult and went in halvsies with a family member then the company I work for began supporting the ICAA department, as Gregg might say, well into the 5 figures per year.

In the 90s. You know, when we weren't going to Final Fours, much less past the 1st round of Arch Madness. And my tickets rarely go unused. On top of that, I buy, personally, season tickets to several other WSU sports and in addition, donate to more than one . I'm not saying this to pat myself on the back, but only to point out that the corporate guy isn't bad. In fact, the vast majority are not only good, they are necessary and integral in the success of the program. Are there some bandwagon folks? Of course. I know a guy who bought 4 great season tickets before last year. What did it cost him? 3 years, cost of tickets, and in excess of a 40k donation per year.

I understand the frustration of not getting better tickets....believe me I do. It's VERY likely I'll lose my tickets (perhaps sooner than later) and I'll beg, borrow, plead or steal to get into a couple of games a year. But I'm not going to blame those folks that bankroll the program for me not getting into the Chuck.

Gotta face the truth, when the product is as good as it is right now, you've got to pay to play....and pay a LOT.

The upper bowl tickets where we usually sit were gone by noon. Wow. I think that the game during the afternoon is great in that I/we plan on going to old town for lunch and an adult beverage and take a leisurely stroll over and watch the game. After a Shocker victory plan on wandering back for another adult beverage or three and to rehash the game with friends and family. What a great way to spend a Saturday.

The frustration for longtime individual/family/non-corporate ticket holders who have supported the program long before HCGM or even HCMT was at WSU is that we are getting screwed. We pay our hard earned money to support the program, and when persons circumvent the priority seating privileges, they are stealing seats that rightfully belong to others. It is theft pure and simple.

The irony of the situation is that the programs success is pushing the family/individual ticket holders out the door. The individual/family ticket holders have not nor will we waiver should the program's success fall on tough times. Even when the Shocks are well ranked, the number of empty seats below the entrance points can be frustrating. Presently or Heaven forbid, should the program return to a period of tough times, HCGM and the athletic department has no right to complain or to call out "fans" for not showing up. Empty seats are "the price of progress."

Students are excluded from this conversation, get your butts in those seats!

You are right, there are corporate folks who are true fans. If they would simply put a cap on the Intrust tickets equal to their number of CKA seats I should not complain.

It appears there are only single seats left in the 47 dollar section now. (putting in a quantity of 2 returns that they aren't available). The pick from the map option is gone. So its harder to see for sure what's left.

Yeah, that is a bummer. I hope it is just a glitch and the map will be available again. If not, the value of the folks at the ticket window just improved from 0 to "tell me exactly what you've got in XYZ Sections."

I completely agree. I bought my four and my partner bought a total of 6 more than our total season tickets and I completely agree that's unfair and have suggested and advocated that it be stopped.

Correct me if I'm wrong, aren't games at IBA considered "neutral" site games? I believe the Shocks receive a flat dollar amount (as well does Utah) simply for playing in the game, but then IBA and SMG share the burden of filling the arena, staffing the event, and selling enough concessions to cover costs. It's not WSU's event. Similar to the Advocare Classic the Shocks will play in November. The venue has elected to have all seats as general admission. Your high or no SASO contribution gets you the same seats. Not sure how KU handles their annual game in Kansas City, but my guess is that it's similar in that season ticket holders are not given absolute control over seating.

WSU is trying to look out for season ticket holders at the IBA games, to an extent, by working with IBA to allow for a season ticket holder presale, but as mentioned, the arena just wants to sell all the tickets and make enough money to cover what they are paying WSU and Utah, and still turn a profit. SASO contribution and longevity points are still valued by WSU, just with non home games, it's tricky. If IBA doesn't care enough to ask people for their codes at the ticket window, I'm not sure how this could be called "theft".
