  • WSU is reporting there is 4500 tickets left. That is about 1,500 less than last year.

If they really are sold out in those sections, some people bought ridiculously large blocks.
And yet that's what it says. The "best" $14 seats are 207 row L. They still aren't even officially on sale to the public yet.

Wow. And that's not even the "official" start. There has been plenty of press on Saturday as the official start, so I'd expect strong sales to continue tomorrow as well.

Edit: Incidentally, basketball capacity for IBA (via Wikipedia) is 15,004.

        15,004 - 4500 = 10,504. Any chance it was actually 4498? :)

When I got tickets late this morning, they only had singles left in the lower bowl. They had 3 ticket windows open selling the Shocker game tickets and a long steady line. So it doesn't surprise me at all. (They had a 4th ticket window open selling Toby Mac tickets).

          • Well...I'm going to wait and see if they release any more tickets in the near future.

            • Got my three tickets for me, my wife, and my daughter in section 120, row W. I'm sure I'll be a long ways away, but I'll be THERE, and that's what matters.

You're in the lower level. You're a lot better off than a lot of people.

While IBA is no Koch Arena, you'll have an excellent view of the game and have a great experience. Good for you.

                • The family and I got four tickets in the $14 seats (waaaay up high) this morning. Will be making the drive up from Houston to watch the Shockers take on the Utes on my birthday.

They will and they will be pretty good tickets - u just have to catch them is the rub because they go fast. Historically the last 2 years it has been in mid-november when the biggest group come open.

                    • A group of 4 tickets is getting put in 207 row A right now.. So has to be getting close to sold out

                      • Is there a diagram anywhere that you can use to see an idea of where your seat row is or how high up? You don't get a choice on seats nor can you see a placement on a diagram.

They had a diagram the first day, but it hasn't been up since then.

That's odd. I got my tickets right at 10 and they were 207 Row Q. So much for "best available".

                            • I'm starting to think I may not even get to go to this game if I don't hurry up and buy my tickets.

I called Select A Seat, and the reason I got row Q right away and row A was available so much later is because some people who use the online service will put tickets in their cart, hold them for a few minutes, and then decide they don't want them. Makes perfect sense. Was able to sweet talk my way in to exchanging for some tickets that were a bit better.
