I have been a Shocker fan since the seventies good years and bad, and I am proud to say that through all the bad years our program never crossed that line. What's really going to be great is that right when Muller FINALLY hits it big on a couple high risk recruits that pan out, he will have his glory run probably the season after we have left the MVC.

I have heard from an impeccable source that we are in serious talks with the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen for as early as 2017. They aren't too much into sports, but they REALLY want Bardo and Marshall in their ranks.

For them it is. It's all relative. Also the seriousness of the crime has and inverse realtionship to the talent of the player.

I think it is safe to say this will not have a major impact on the Illinois State team this year.

He will be found guilty and it will be handled internally and he will miss little time. It will be just like Hillary Clinton and the FBI running an athletic department.

Hawkins won't return to the Redbirds next year.

Deontae Hawkins is suspended indefinitely for violation of team rules. The 6-8 forward was charged in late October with driving under the influence, illegal transportation of alcohol and driving with a suspended license. He missed a closed scrimmage at Iowa and Sunday's exhibition game against Quincy.

Muller said Hawkins' status for the opener is "still to be determined." Although he could return next season, Hawkins has decided this will be his final year with the Redbirds, according to Muller.

He'll hit the books as hard as he can, with a lot of help from a lot of different people, and then as soon as the semester ends so do the classes. I predict he's gonna make a mistake during the Holidays.
