John Smith; now that's a blast from the past. He was a 'bad' dude... I better leave it at that. :)

I have no idea and am not making any assumptions here, more of a question to those with a better understanding of the law. Is it possible that the "illegal transportation of alcohol" charge against Hawkins could be the result of transporting stolen alcohol that resulted in these Theft charges?

Unlikely. It almost always means driving with an open container.

Translating Dan Muller speak at ISU when he gives Hawkins an "indefinite suspension": A definite suspension would mean that you would definitely miss some games. We are calling this an "indefinite suspension" because we do not expect that to happen. :)

As much as indefinite suspension has already been meaningless under Muller, he has already walked back even those comments; saying they will handle things internally "as usual."

Which is sad both in that they usually don't do anything, and that they have a usual.

That right there is more than enough to be booted from the team. How stupid can a person be, driving on a suspended license? Then again, how stupid can a coach be to keep a guy on the team after these charges? Oh wait, I forgot, we are talking about Dandy Dan Muller here. lol

It probably is a good thing that Hawkins decided to switch to ILS. He is certainly has talent but it is hard to imagine him and 3G mixing well at all.

He wouldn't still be here. It was a great choice on his part to transfer to a school that would keep him in spite of himself, and a great outcome for us in dodging the bullet. Who knows how his scholarship would have affected who was on our roster. Maybe someone we really like would have never been here.

Its a good thing that happened in this time in history because that consumption was a killer in the olden days.

                        • Two members of the Illinois State University basketball team are in trouble with the law.

They were in possession of a stolen phone and wallet.

                          Muller is handling it "internally".

Wowwwww LOL. That program is actually beyond joke-level now.

Jailbird U is really pumping them out of the factory now. It's gonna be amusing to see how the Warden "handles" all of this.

Maybe the Redturds should just change their uniform colors to orange.

                            • What had happened was, they agreed to buy the iphone, and took the wallet so as to put the money for the phone in the sellers wallet. That's all it is, really.

At what point does the MVC step in and hand down punishment?
