We can use a good shooter from that position, but if he wants the PT, he will need to step up his defense and floor leadership.

edit: although now that I think about it, I remember another guy with Texas-Illinois connections (they just went the other direction, a Texan playing at Illinois) who did even less as a freshman and ended up being a pretty good Shocker after transferring in -- Kyle Wilson.Last edited by WSUwatcher; August 2, 2015, 03:51 PM.

Then there was this player named Baker that the big boys disregarded that had few if any stars by his name that will be an All-American this Season here at 21st and Hillside. This is an unfinished story that reminds me some of Steve Kerr way-back when. Makes a person think that our Coaching Staff made a solid move in signing Peyton Allen?Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

They knew Baker was very good but with Toure' and Kyles still playing, they so chose to have Baker wait a Season and learn our System, just like Allen will get to do. We go as deep as 10 starters at least on our team now so all will be finer than a frog-hair. From watching Shamet and McDuffie play, they indeed will be very very good. It took the end of FVV's Freshman Season to really crack the rotation into quality minutes. That goes to show just how deep we go with quality players "another shocker".Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

but shamet, mcduffie and brown are going to be quite a load.
