Is that the type of league where games involve throwing alley-oops to ones self off the backboard?

Cause I like the fact that my team practices on both ends of the court over the summer.

The Metro Basketball League is an NCAA sanctioned league that aims to help serve collegiate and professional players by giving them the opportunity to compete and improve themselves in the off-season. We host several local college teams...

Sweet! A D1 team that hasn't made it past the first weekend of the NCAA tournament since the Nixon Administration, and then a bunch of NAIA style ballers. No mention if it is also a co-ed league, or open to church teams. Presumably so? Confirmation anyone?

If only WSU could get something like this moving in its hometown. Oh well, something to shoot for, right?

      Big time facilities too:

Rosters are pretty B-A as well:

NOTE: Rosters are subject to change. Not all players will compete every week. Additional players not listed below may play some weeks as their schedules allow.  Some team names and finalized rosters are still pending. ...

Bet competition is stiff to get on the EQ School of Hair Design team roster. Looks like it, what with it stacked with studs from a local CC, Omaha's equivalent to Friends University, and someplace called "Midland." I'm waiting for confirmation on if that last one there is a for-profit school working out of a strip center.

I'd shoot for the Andy's Lawncare squad. Looks to be the hub of action. I think they play the co-ed team from the Omaha Seventh Day Adventists next week.

In other news from Lake Wobegon...
