When the transfer was first announced (or maybe it was when the date for the Utah game became official) Lutz or Sully commented that he would be eligible to play against Utah.

Many will be upset with my somewhat "doubting" this young man...but playing for Gregg Marshall and "performing" for Bill Self are obviously two entire different entities.

Having said that...I'm quite positive coach will get the effort out of CF. Just how much effort is my question. Will he get on the floor getting down and dirty for loose balls? Will he contend shots on the defensive end? Will he get in the passing lanes causing all kinds of fits like our guys do??? Guess I'm just a bit uncertain without ever seeing him play before.
The way Marshall gushes over Conner, I think he has earned his trust, and while I don't expect him to be a starter this season, it wouldn't surprise me.

This is from CF was in high school and his coach at north called him one of the toughest hard nosed kids he had seen. I'm not worried that he will show the tenacity that we exjpect.

Did you not see this (below) from ShockerPhi, Shockda? By definition, the first semester is over December 11. That being the case, and given that Marshall himself has also said he expects Frankamp to be ready for Utah, what more sources do you really need?

"For the record, Finals week for the Fall 2015 semester starts December 5th and ends Friday, December 11th. That means Conner will have completed all finals before the December 12 game on Saturday against Utah.

So when will it be appropriate to start a pool for number of 3s that CF nails in Utah's face?

Unfortunately, I had not seen his post (or not realized it was on this thread, I'm not sure which) before I made that comment. Next time I'll make sure to double check with you before I say I don't have any extremely reliable sources.

Thanks, Shockda. Glad to oblige. Please feel free to check back anytime, although I don't always check all threads that often, so it may take me a while to respond.

In all seriousness, I wasn't trying to pick at you, just to make the point that when one already knows or can find out the answer for himself there really isn't a need for "reliable sources," extremely or otherwise. I assumed -- reasonably, I think -- that you had seen the previous post I quoted, because it wasn't that far back in the thread; and that was obviously not the case.

Now! Dibs on 9. He goes 9 for 10 missing only his first attempt due to nerves. :yahoo:

He's probably a better shooter when he's nervous than what Evan is when he's not.

Comparing their collegiate shooting numbers would suggest otherwise. :)

I'm thinking he misses the last one due to fatigue.

I'm thinking since it will be his first game time in almost two years, he will only shoot 80% from the arc. 4 out of 5, but the miss will be from just outside half court as the first half clock runs out. :)
