Why can't FVV and CF be on the court at the same time? I don't understand why some of you feel we have to pick one or the other here.

That's a good point, but @Cdizzle: was just responding to someone that said CF and RB would only be on the court at the same time as pg and sg. Cdizzle made the point that we have a 2 time all-american at pg, so there isn't really a substitute pg we should drool over more than the one we currently have. I would wager that FVV will never be in the game as anything other than pg, so the person Cdizzle quoted was actually proposing a mutually exclusive scenario.

I think we will definitely see FVV at pg, CF at sg, and RB at the 3 sometimes next year.

That's what I get for jumping into a thread without reading the entire thing first!!!!

I think he was talking about the freshmen, and just miscounted,as there are 4 coming in unless something changes.

I don't even know if it's technically possible, but how hilarious would it be if Self asked CF to come back and travel with KU for the games. It would kind of make sense, putting all of the weirdness aside, because of CF being an hour and a half away and knowing the KU system better than any other guard not on the team.

                Would be hilarious. Won't happen.

Things are bad if an article states the Self and Manning boys as options.

Ron would kill it, but I wouldn't want a single unnecessary mile put on him in the off season.

Ron and Fred are trying out for TeamUSA so they wouldn't be available even if Self thought of them. :)

What a great problem to have.

Shame. Graham was one of the few KU players that showed some heart on our game. Here's to a quick recovery.

Given the circumstances of his departure, it's no surprise that Frankamp wasn't a candidate for Self to pursue (not that Marshall would go for it anyway; he isn't exactly a Phog disciple the way Larry Brown is). Too bad, because Conner has some pretty impressive international experience and success on his resume.

Moore is a very good player, though: one of the all-too-many Valley (and especially Illinois State) refugees who have decided that the grass was greener and the lights brighter elsewhere, and the Chickenhawks would be better if he were on their roster for the whole coming season instead of just a few weeks during the summer. The Old Cheater had better watch out, lest The Rug try some sort of subtle brainwashing to lead Nic astray.

Saw he hit 50+ in the Omaha Summer League. Be cool to have a summer league here.
