It will be nice to see 3 state of Kansas kids with 2 being from Wichita starting for nationally ranked WSU.
I'm sure Ellis wishes he had picked WSU too. What a waste.
Can't wait to see CF knock down his first 3 wearing a Shocker uniform.
I plan on making a special trip to Wichita / Intrust to see it happen against Utah.
    Go Shox!!!

Very excited to see the debut of CF next year and the culmination of the careers of EW and RB. Yes, it would have been great to see Perry in black and yellow, as well as Spearville's own Willey Cauley-Stein, but I absolutely LOVE the kids we have!

CF has already put on 7 lbs of muscle with another 10-12 to go before the season starts. Did I mention I love Kerry Rosenboom?

And is still the "best shooter I've ever seen"--HC3G I can't wait to see this kid play.

Is he for sure going to play against Utah?

I keep hearing that, but not from any extremely reliable sources.

I'm pretty sure Coach said he would play after the last exam is given and that he expects his first game to be Dec. 12 on the season wrap up coach's show. I haven't heard from any more credible sources though :)

Given Marshall's success at WSU I look forward to the future when the majority (if not all) quality Kansas high school players choose to play their collegiate careers as Shockers. What could Marshall have achieved the past three years if the Shocker lineup included RB, CF, EW, PE and WC-S?

It'll be interesting to see if CF can play with the toughness and hustle we are so accustomed to seeing out of our Shockers. Watching that ku vs. wsu game was a real eye-opener for me. Those guys quite frankly we're little babies. Nary an ounce of toughness. Many will be upset with my somewhat "doubting" this young man...but playing for Gregg Marshall and "performing" for Bill Self are obviously two entire different entities.

Having said that...I'm quite positive coach will get the effort out of CF. Just how much effort is my question. Will he get on the floor getting down and dirty for loose balls? Will he contend shots on the defensive end? Will he get in the passing lanes causing all kinds of fits like our guys do??? Guess I'm just a bit uncertain without ever seeing him play before.

In the March Madness game vs Stanford a couple seasons ago, CF was the only 1 showing any grit. Hit a few big 3's to keep them in the game. He will beast for us.

Wanted to add: I'm pretty pumped about our bench next season, it'd be nice to see a time when both FVV & RB could rest together.

Frankly her methods are not what KU needs right now. Skinny 18 yr olds won't gain weight using bands and doing Pilates

Once Connor earns Gregg's trust on the court, and I believe he will, he will be free to do what he does best, shoot. He was never given that trust by Bill. The rest of his game will follow accordingly. He will be a baller.
