Most recruiters are probably pretty good when they're recruiting for Kentucky.

Can he coach his way out of a brown paper bag?

Hire Coach Jans ( I have no doubt he would come back after 1 year at BG), retain one or two of our current assistant's (a very possible scenario) and the program will not miss a beat.

I think you don't know what I understand. I don't need to revisit anything, once was enough. I know exactly what we have probably way more than you, but please stop with the defeatist attitude. If he wants to be here that is great! If he doesn't then like the title of this thread, this is a great job and we need to move on and not be held hostage every year.
You are correct, I do not know what you understand. I am drawing conclusions based on your comments, such as if he left "we wouldn't miss a beat".

I'm sure he probably can. If I'm not mistaken, he and the other main assistant coach John Robic took over the South Carolina game last year after Calipari was ejected and brought UK back in the game after being down something like 16 points. I think they still lost though. Im pretty sure he also coached a couple of games on UK's bahama tour in the summer as well. However it's all a very small sample size and it would seem pretty risky considering he has never been a head coach.
