When I first read a scouting report on him, I could have sworn they were talking about Baker.

I brought the old thread back because there are some interesting opinions from 2 years ago.

In the list of Valley A/TO leaders, there are 2things that stand out. One is the class of the leaders. The other is the gap between the numbers in the right hand column.

Frankamp, with 75 assists, apparently doesn't have enough to make the list.

Recently we should be talking about turnover to assist ratio for Connor since you can't divide by zero. That dude has just been nails!

Thoughts on Landry?

1. I think he is arguably the best player on the team. He's certainly been our most consistent guy all year.
2. Even though it's great that he is a Freshman I still wish we could have seen him play all last year. He would have made a huge difference from beginning to end.

I'm glad Landry redshirted. Being buried behind Ron and Fred would not have done a lot for him. Kinda like Fred behind Armstead his freshman year. Landry has a 4 full years to make an impact here, crossing fingers.

Fred behind Mal ended up pretty good both in the short and long term.

Except Fred being available behind Armstead allowed for a F4.

And frankly, based on how the NCAAs shook out last year and what we're seeing now, I'm not so sure that Shamet being available behind Fred/Ron wouldn't have netted similar results.

I copied that from the MVC site. The headings were in the pasted part and showed in the reply box, but they disappeared when I hit Submit.

I'm way too lazy to type all that and lay it out so it makes columns on a message board.

This league is so screwed the next couple of years, and most of them haven't even realized it yet.

My thoughts are that Landry (and all of our other incoming recruits) chose WSU because of Gregg Marshall. Now that Marshall will most likely be the next coach at Texas before the end of the week, I don't think any of them will come to WSU. Maybe Eric Hamilton since he is at Sunrise in Wichita already.
