It's pretty clear that any and all discussion threads this week will devolve into a debate about our coach's decision to stay or go.

But in the interest of getting back to the topic, I'll give my two cents. No freshman is going to replace RB next year. Shamet may end up being a very solid 2 down the road and may even get significant playing time next season. But I see both Ron and Fred running our backcourt in 2015-2016 with a little Shamet and Frankamp sprinkled in. JMHO

Taylor looks like the PG of the future to me.

I saw Landry play on TV this year. When playing PG he looked amazingly similar
to RB. Closer to RB than TM. That said, he needs to put in his time in the weight room and learn tp play WSU defense.

I expect him to be primarily a 2 guard, but he can be a very servicable PG when needed.

No idea, but I always pronounce like Labette. Shuh Met. But I have no knowledge as to how Landry pronounces it himself.

In regards to my thoughts on Landry, the kid is a stud and will be big time at Wichita. Has a very high ceiling and seems to be the perfect Marshall recruit, wanting to better himself and play team basketball.

Yeah, I don't think I was very clear in my question. Obviously, no incoming freshman of ours would be able to fill Ron's void immediately. It's good to hear that the chances of Ron leaving arent that high. Thank you everyone for your comments.
