He absolutely killed that interview. I'm excited about what he brings to the table.

The definitive answer to Yellow or Gold, in my opinion goes back directly to 1909 when Bliss Isely lead the campaign to adopt the colors of the sunflower, our state flower. It was specifically written to be black and sunflower yellow.

Dear tech support:
I've tried 3 browsers and still can't watch the video. With IE I get a graphic of an exclamation point in place of the video. On Chrome and Firefox the video plays but with no sound. I have the volume on the video and on my laptop at the highest setting.
Any tech savvy Shockernetters out there with brilliant fixes for my problem? Thanks in advance."It's amazing to watch Ron slide into that open area, Fred will find him and it's straight cash homie."--HCGM

According to "official" sources, it's yellow and black, although I often refer to the "Black and Gold". http://goshockers.com/fls/7500/Licen...DB_OEM_ID=7500

No doubt our colors are based on the Sunflower. However, Sunflowers are generally brown or dark brown in the center and not black.
Golden yellow is the color halfway between amber and yellow on the RGB color wheel. It is a color that is 87.5% yellow and 12.5% red.
The first recorded use of golden yellow as a color name in English was in the year 1597.[4]

Most of the Shocker shirts I have are closer the the golden yellow color shown in the link above then they are to a pure yellow.
Even the color scheme on ShockerNet is more of a golden yellow.
Who would of thought Coach Lindsted would be such a lighting rod. Golden yellow lighting of course.Last edited by 1972Shocker; June 30, 2015, 03:54 PM.

Do you get sound from any other applications? If not, your laptop may be sending audio through your headphone jack (or some "device" other than your speakers). I've had that happen before when I've plugged in headphones, then unplugged them and it never switches back to the speakers. You could go into your audio properties and check, but a restart would be almost as quick.

I've gotten to be a bit of a crusty curmudgeon in my advancing years, and as a result I have a difficult time getting excited about much of anything. But listening to Coach Lindsted in these interviews has me feeling like a high school kid who's just been asked to prom by the hot head cheerleader. Lindsted's excitement to be on the job at Wichita State is palpable. It's infectious. His energy level and enthusiasm is off the charts. I can only imagine that when he sits in the living room of an 18 year old recruit, that energy will be difficult to ignore.
So far, this hire seems like a home run. I know the proof in the performance and he hasn't done anything yet, but listening to his first couple of interviews, this old curmudgeon can't help but be frickin pumped.

Imagine what he can do with the recruiting budget of WSU compared to his previous gig.

To continue the off topic discussion, I don't understand why Microsoft won't just give up on IE. Please, just let it die MS... It's always interesting to me when I come across people who don't realize they don't have to see the internets in a broken state.
