  • Stupid talk. Who can we least afford to lose? A needless question so that we can needlessly publicly rank our two best players. I don't want to lose either one and either will be a big loss.

Agree. Really think he would leave with the chance of not being drafted?

I also wonder if Landry has any PG skills. That would be an awesome combination.
Landry has PG skills. I'm not sure if they are strong enough to be a full time PG at the D-I level, but there's a chance that he could be.

          Good sign

The only news conference this year that I recall was Kentucky's in regards to its 7 players leaving.

I hope you are right, but I wouldn't necessarily draw that conclusion just because there is a press release instead of a news conference.

          • Mark Adams just tweeted that Fred is returning.

Not that I'm questioning him, but does anyone have corroborating evidence of this?

I can't corroborate in any way but it does seem like Mark and Fred enjoy a pretty good relationship. The trouble with a tweet you don't always know whether they are tweeting it as a fact or as their opinion.

He did break the Marshall staying story.

Maybe he's been given this one too.

                      • Ron and Fred returning really makes the transition to the next generation of Shocker studs that much easier.

If the Wichita River Festival really wanted to make a splash this year they would ask Fred and Ron to serve as co-Admiral Windwagon Smiths this year.

I'd bet a beer or two in St. Louis 4 years from now, that the names Thurman and Marshall will have caused much more opponent angst than Baker and Van Fleet."

JRS caused more angst then either of those two

Well, to their credit the name Marshall is causing opponent angst, just a different one. :)
