Brown's first dribble is with his left hand to protect the ball from Oubre. He did that and put the ball in a position for a crossover and used his right hand for the second dribble. He was approaching the basket for a right-handed shot, so he corssed over again and made the third dribble with his left hand.

That's half the court in 3 dribbles with 2 crossovers. Dude has got some handles.
We must have different definitions of handles because that play does not look too different from Chadrack Lufile dribbling the ball up the court after a steal. The reason he is able to cover so much ground in three dribbles is because the ball is being dribbled so high and relatively out of control.
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

      • Seems about right
One quick note before we present the rankings: With Wichita State’s move to the American Athletic Conference, the Shockers have moved out of the mid-major club. We wish the Shockers well against Cincinnati, UConn, SMU, and more.

          • Check out the archives of past years of the 144 Rankings. If you look at the rankings done in the summer of 2012, you'll love the #84 pick. I think it's safe to say that the author missed on that one...by about 80 spots.

Well, we DID lose Ragland, Murry, Kyles, Smith, and Stutz off that team and No one outside of Kansas had ever heard of Ron Baker.

The lesson learned here is that more people, especially people outside of Kansas need to start listening to me.

                    • Some more love for our guys on ESPN's Top 25 College Players List.

Note how many other programs have two players ranked in the top six.

Insider? Can you provide a summation?

I also like how he pointed out that Melo Trimble's game is based on how the game is called. That's why he was ineffective in the physical Pan-Am games, but gets tons of calls in a regular NCAA game.

Fred #4, Ron #6. Wiltjer is the only non-freshman listed ahead of either one at #3.

Though, when comparing him to one Ron Baker, it does make one wonder how "rough and tumble" the big bad big10 really is. One of those guys drags at least one guy with him everywhere he goes all season and succeeds anyway. One relies on fouls being called.

                              • Baker is better than Trimble. Period.

Just noticed while looking at the roster that McDuffie is still 17 years old. Won't be 18 until Sept 6. Keep growing!
