You receive the elusive "Thanks Only" response, which doesn't include a "Like" for this sad, but important information.

      That's exactly what it was.
If you're not going to go all the way, why go?

I do think those 5 players are probably the starting lineup based on how this season went (not at all based on any knowledge of newcomers. They could easily make some changes to the lineup if they are good). I'm really just trying to make the point that I don't think those names are a title lineup...not who will be playing which position.
        Gotcha.

Now that I'm thinking about it, I do think that lineup could get us to the Dance. Just to be clear :)
Without a better center, I still think we would win the MVC, be at-large and possibly make noise. Who am I kidding? UK couldn't win a title with a title team. It's always up in the air, regardless. I guess I really just wish we could have Frank Kaminsky in his current form.

            • Quick question: What's the criteria to have your name hanging from the rafters?

              • Starting 5. FVV, Baker, Wessel, RK, and Morris. Good luck to the rest of the college hoops world winning loose balls, or just winning anything... at all.

Not a platoon, cause that's stupid, but a secondary-ish 5. Shamet, CF, Brown, McDuff, BW. The great thing is there are more than 10 very talented players on this team which makes it difficult.

Obviously, the starting 5 is beastly, but how fun will it be to see a secondary unit similar to what I just penciled in. Kinda reminds me of a few years ago when Matt B, Wilson, and a few others checked in -- what'd they call them that first year? The rat pack? That can't be right, but it was fun to see that second unit come in.

I think next season, as it develops, will show a toss-up between EW and ZB at the starting 3 spot.

I really hope we see quite a bit of FVV, Baker and CF on the floor at the same time .. Would be fun to watch how FVV can distribute to them and see how teams decide who to guard.

You will be happy to remember that there is also an Eric Hamilton you left out.

                        And Taylor
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

I believe it was Brauer, Ogirri, Cousinard, and Wilson

                          • If the young uns pick up the system and play defense this could be a whole lotta fun watching the second group come in and continue to dominate.

So you don't think Eric Hamilton will even make the top 10 on the team?

I don't, but I may be irrationally excited about McDuff. But, I say that with respect to the difference in #10 and 11 being an amount of mins you can count on one hand because of the position flexibility and depth this team has.
