'Bama is, first and foremost a football school. There have been good coaches at 'Bama who got fired (C. M. Newton and Wimp Sanderson. I scratched my head when Grant left VCU to go there.

I don't think any coach will have long-term success there.

Frank Martin is good friends with him and would hire him on his S. Carolina staff in a heartbeat. However, Grant deserves better and should find a HC gig somewhere.
