Not many WSU fans posting on phog.net. I've been reading a few threads. I have neither the time nor the desire to read 1/10 of the posts about WSU over there.
Reality is starting to sink in just a bit when the game switched from KU by 2-1/2 to a pick-em. This was before the line switched to WSU by 1.

The ideological dichotomy from a certain (likely large) subset of the Beaker fanbase is thing of awe to me. On one hand the thrust is that WSU is so insignificant as to not pay a care to its existence, and if a care is given such words as "destroy" and "garbage" are common descriptors. Then, while this narrative is up and running at full tilt in the background of their psyche, all they can do is post/talk ad nauseam about that thing they think nothing of. It is truly hilarious, and honestly an indicator that possibly not all is right in the noggin of the average lemming drawn to the KU flame.
If I were working on a doctoral dissertation in psychology, I would strongly consider this sometimes-seen component of fandom as my subject matter.Comment

And to fix this is very simple: When the university publicly acknowledges and apologizes for all of its sins against Wichita State University, and when it returns the medical school that it stole, and when you dig up and reanimate the beaker son-of-a-b**** that suggested that my brother, the smartest person I have ever known, went to WSU because he couldn't get into KU, and have him apologize to my face for the insult to my family, maybe MAYBE then I will change my opinion of KU.
Until then eff off and go spend your time more constructively than trolling our board. Maybe by throwing up in a bar in Westport like the rest of your d-bag bretheren.Comment

He was humble, respectful, and complimentary about the history of their BB program.
