That's a lot of time to hold the "heat of the moment".
Typical post game pressor. 15-20 minutes after.

Were you over WSU's loss to UK in 20 minutes? I wasn't....I hate that he said it but he should apologize and move on, what I hate is that Kominsky wouldn't be allowed to apologize and move on had he said it.....

It never enters the discussion that you just shouldn't do it at all for some reason. I don't even care. I'm not in the least offended by it. I actually agree with Adam I suppose. I just think it's such a classic display.
He didn't say it was okay. He was just pointing out the different circumstances between an "in the moment" utterance under your breath after a very emotional loss and what occurred with the SAE chant. No one is saying it was okay. It was reported that Andrew personally called Kaminski to apologize and "had a good talk". We all at one time or another have muttered something under our breath in the heat of a moment that we wished we had not. Absolutely not condoning what he said but unfortunately that type of language is part of the culture for some people -- just like using the "F" word seems very prevalent on message boards.

I'm still not over it, particularly a couple of specific plays. But in 30 minutes, had I been going on national TV, I believe I would not have let loose that particular phrase. Are you saying you would?
"I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. I like to win more than 99.9% of the people in this world, but he may top me." -- Gregg Marshall 12/23/13 :peaceful:

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

              • Here's the deal. Harrison and Kaminsky are not "bros" and this was said out of anger and frustration about another player of a different race. It was not a tasteful, culturally appropriate usage as many will try to say when it's black on black. If this can't be classified as racism, it has to be classified as poor word choice to convey a feeling. If that is an option on the table, why can't everyone use that excuse?

We live in an "excuse" society unfortunately. Every "bad choice, not tasteful, racist, blah/blah/blah" moment is automatically cleared up by whatever "excuse" works in the moment. That's the cultural expectation we live in I guess. It's pathetic people.

When I realized how this could be perceived I immediately called big frank to apologize and let him know I didn't mean any disrespect

Congrats to you for being the moral high ground. Look at all my post on this subject....I'm not going to overreact to what he said, like you have, I do have a big problem to the consequences of what he said vs if Kaminsky said the same thing in the same context. Have you ever had floor seats for a WSU game? Trust me worse is said player to player white and black during the game and the word n***a flows freely......from both WSU players and their opponents...

Yep, screw Harrision. He would have never issued an apology if nobody heard this and I guarantee he wouldn't be back pedaling and saying that how much he respects FK's game.

                          He's a *****.

oh,well. looking forward to the '15-'16 shocker season.
You must have been listening to the voices in your own head. The WSU-Kentucky game was called the single most important sporting event (best) in any sport, in the US by Sports Illustrated earlier this year. If ever a game defined "quality loss", it was that game.

People were saying that about the MVC before that game. Very few did afterwards....in relation to WSU's worthiness or ability. And I heard many people say the same thing about Kentucky's run. If they had played in the ACC or other quality conference, they would not have survived the season, undefeated.
Kansas is Flat. The Earth is Not!!

I'm disappointed you're about the only one on this board that doesn't conceded I am "King of Morality." Consider yourself informed and up to date. I know you're not going to over react=put your head in the sand. You have proven that. I'm glad you cleared up that a minut few might hear less than stellar language during a college basketball game. That's a perfectly apples to apples example of what Harrison did. Nice work ace!!!

But...but...what about the best conference? Surely they would have had at least 2 or 3 losses in such strong top to bottom Big 12.
