lol Big 12, cheers to this being the start of a horrible weekend for them all.
Perfect start. Other than OU and KU, that was supposed to be one of the power teams from the Big 12. This wasn't Texas losing in the first round. This was ISU, who was a really big deal from the mighty big 12 who just lost to the 5th place C-USA team with an darn near losing record before their conference tourney.
The best part is it wasn't fluky at all. UAB traded leads the whole game and hung right there with them. This wasn't a bunch of luck bounces and three balls.
Ok now let's go Georgia State knock off Baylor!!!!!!
Too bad Ryan Harrow couldn't play today he is avg like 19 PPG. It's amazing Georgia State is in this game with RJ Hunter doing nothing the first half.
I thought Ga State had a shot but that was with Harrow.

Maybe next year the committee will give the Big 12 teams automatic 1 seeds instead of those worthless 3 seeds to give them a better chance at advancing?
UAB came into today with RPI of around 137 with 15 losses and 5 losses to teams with an RPI of over 200. Lost to South Florida, North Texas, Rice, Florida Atlantic and Florida International. Florida Atlantic had an RPI over 300.

UAB officially rings in March Madness. What a great win for the Blazers especially after all the turmoil and angst earlier this year when the school announced they were dropping football.
