I hope everyone remembers this comment next year when considering going to Arch Madness. Go to Arch Madness or hold out for the 50% chance that you could spend that same money to watch the Shockers play within 500 miles or so of Wichita in the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament. If you are blessed with enough money to do both, great for you. If you can only choose one though...well, I know what I would choose.

Great point. I'm tired of supporting a city and conference that caters to everybody but WSU. The media members hate us. The league shafts us. All they want is our $$$$. They don't know how good they got it with us and totally take it for granted. If we leave, they're f*****.

We are flying in Saturday morning and flying out early Monday morning. Lucked out and snagged a room at the Hyatt Place Downtown for $100/nt on Priceline- ten minute walk from the arena.

I'm headed up Sunday.

I was surprised to hear that schools don't receive an allotment of tickets for the entire weekend. Just each individual game. So if a school doesn't advance, they don't get tickets for the following game.

Yeah, it changed sometime between our Greensboro trip and Portland. We had all sessions for Greensboro, but just tickets to the sessions WSU played in at Portland. I purchased my tickets through the NMST ticket office this year, so I think it's pretty much a guarantee I won't have tickets for Sunday...lol.

Heading up Thursday with Mrs. Vector, staying downtown (suprised at the friendly rates). The tickets are pricey but what the hell, it was going to cost $$ to fly on short notice if we were sent out east/west. I guess some fortunate Creighton fan gets my money instead of American Airlines. I made it to New Orleans in 81' (shoestring budget) and that trip was one of the great memories from my college years. Here's hoping for a similar outcome (not the LSU part). Just happy to be a part of the Dance the last few years.....
