It's just weird to me. Midwest would mean middle western part of the country. If there is a midwest, then by definition, there would also be a mideast. Where is that?

My ex girlfriend, the one from Iowa, always claimed that Kansas is part of the South.

The American needs WSU so very badly...it gives us a 12th hoops school, and gives the AAC another very good basketball program.

UConn, Cincy, Memphis, SMU, Tulsa, Temple, AND Whicita State...man, we need that.

I can guarantee it would exist...should the AAC get raided, it could always back fill with CUSA or Sun Belt schools.

real question would be, can you guarantee the quality of the conference will be the same in 5 years?

no, I can't...but I still think it would be better than the MVC...that said, I don't see us losing any teams.

I still think MWC offers more stability and also hold out hope that the BE comes to their senses and adds WSU and VCU.

I think a really cool barometer for where our program is, HCGM says about the drive to Omaha "I’ve never driven it, but I’m sure people have and can and will..."

The fact that our team flies for 4.5 hour road trips. It's a small thing, but it is a sign we have the resources to compete with anyone. Most MVC schools can't say that.

So can you twist the AAC Commissioner's arm and make him cry uncle? Otherwise it's not going to happen. Right? At this point the MWC looks like more of a possibility because their Commissioner said that he is open to considering basketball only schools. BTW, I would personally prefer the AAC to the MWC
