Interesting's a kind way to say it given their last year.

However, they only lose two seniors from this team, totaling 9.4 PPG, 6 RPG, 1.9 APG, 33.7% FG%. They return easily their top four players, and their top five scorers. They'll have four scholarship seniors. They'll have a new coach. I think it's a possibility they'll be a significantly improved, top 200 RPI team next year. Which wouldn't be a bad buy game.

Couple of fun storylines popped up for next year's Orlando Classic these last few days.

No kidding! That field looks much stronger than it did to me originally. Hopefully, a bunch of those teams won't incur the WSU non-con curse and unexpectedly tank. Who does ND expect back next year from their current roster?

I'd love it if the Shox got Boise St. Although I don't think he played much this season, Boise has a guy named Kevin Allen that started at Pratt Community College. Would be great to see him play in person again

The Shockers could play in the "Duke Challenge" next season staged in North Carolina with teams like Arizona, Michigan St., North Carolina, Louisville, Duke and Kentucky in the field. Of course nary a one of 'em would finish in the Top-25 and every P5 conference loving fan would say WE DON'T PLAY ANYBODY!!!!

Hm.. New theory. Maybe P5's refuse to play us in non conference because we cause them to tank the rest of the season!

I wondered about this type of scenario over the years after witnessing and contemplating WHY the Dallas Cowboys (AMERICA's TEAM they'd say) would completely suck after losing to the lowly Arizona Cardinals back in the day. It was like the players from the Cowboys would truly believe they MUST really suck if they happened to lose to AZ Cardinals. The rest of season...the Cowboys seemed not to show up or care. There's a list of Shocker foes this past season I'd type...but the list is too long this late in the evening.

Everyone knows that the National Championship game is only obtained through beating Wichita on a neutral court: Kentucky in 2014, Louisville in 2013, UConn in 2011.

                    Kentucky lost the championship game.
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

                                (3/13/2015 RPI)

With a 3-game MTE, I believe we get 30 total games, so 12 non-conference games. 10 are listed above, 5 home, 2 away, 3 neutral. Looks like we're looking for 2.

Nice schedule... Nice if wet can add a power 5 team.. But after the sweet 16 they ain't happening.. Hope we get re match with Notre Dame, and play Dayton and Xavier...
