    • Texas 0-12 from the floor; must have been watching our game in the lockerroom. :)

I can't really disagree with this. The adjustments were awful because there basically weren't any.

And I know Marshall views timeouts as a "sign of weakness", but damn, they're given to you for a reason. That trap next to the bench where FVV lost a jump ball had "timeout" written all over it and.. nothing. Just a turnover.

        • Shaq played well. About the only bright spot.

UNI won't get the same benefits in STL. I also hope Marshall reminds the referees how much Tuttle cheats with his offensive game by pushing off and lowering his shoulder at will every time he touches the ball. His 26 points or whatever are pretty fake IMO. I think about 10 or 12 of them were actually legit.

Perhaps, but he also was involved in holding Seth Tuttle to a career high 29 points. His two early dunks were nice but mostly were the result of great passes from Fred. Plus Shaq had 4 fouls in only 13 minutes.

                    • Every Panther has their day and today was their day. They played a solid game and had nice quality depth that gave them a nice spark led by Washpun's 16. That left a mark. We only had 6 assist but 11 turnovers. 5-7 on 3's for the Panthers and when they won, their elated fans did not rush the court. We had a problem guarding Tuttle (29 points) and I am glad he is a Senior. Shaq was the only one that stopped him some it seemed. Now the Shockers will go back to the drawing board, not panic and get back to work. We have lots more road games coming up soon and will take each game one at a time. Can't wait for Feb. 28th to play this team again.

I'm not sure what else they could do... Majority of his points were hooks or he just rammed into them and drew a foul

                        • Coach Marshall didn't seem that upset during the postgame interview with MK. Three or four years ago, if we would have lost like this, he would have been really upset.

Let it go. There is always another game around the corner. You could chant 30-1 to remind yourself what a special era we are experiencing.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

He is the dirties player on offense I've seen in a long while.

                              • Some of you need to have an overdose on the chill pill.

For the most part, this L was not unexpected. Sure the final margin sucks, but most objective WSU fans have had this game circled as the most likely L on the season for some time now. Further, we lost to a damn good team. Haven't we wanted another MVC team to step onto the national stage? Here they are... oh, and with that granted wish comes a few L's.

Good grief, we are still on the mountain, and have a top 50, top 100, and top 150 talent coming in next year. We spend almost twice as much as the average in our conference, and have a NCOY at the helm. We still get the purple edition of "you're not a state" back in our house at the end of this regular season, where you can be guaranteed the shooting percentages will be vastly different.

It is just a single loss people... against a very solid team at their house.
