Texas is 2 of their last 5 with wins against Rice and Texas Tech, and double digit losses to OU and OSU.
Duke is 3 of their last 5 with wins against mighty Wofford, Boston College and Wake Forest, and double digit losses to NCSt and Miami.
Both are young teams with little post-season experience.
I like our chances.
And Kentucky had lost what 9 times going into the tournament last year? Did you feel good about our chances then lol? Both UT and Duke are young, but they have a lot of talent. They are dangerous teams (they both beat up on some pretty good teams this weekend). I like our experience and backcourt vs theirs, but it is pretty well documented that size is this teams one kryptonite and both those teams have size
In Palm's new bracket, dated today so it surely includes yesterday's results, St. John's moves up 2 seed lines....after blowing a 10pt lead at DePaul. I just don't get that. And that is a St John's team that is 1-4 in league play....so not like they were on a roll before this. Add in he moved Utah down a seed line from 3 to 4 after losing (okay, getting smacked) to Arizona, while moving West Virginia up 2 seeds to a 3....after losing by 27 at Texas. I would think beating OU soundly was negated by losing so badly to Texas. I know its just numbers thrown out there, but those are 2 that really stuck out to me.
