No one in this South region scares me.
Texas and Duke have some serious inside presence. Those two could be a potentially a bad matchup for us.

I swear to god if we are in the same bracket as Kentucky and Duke I'm going to punch someone. Possibly the two best frontcourts in our region...

That bracket isn't happening anyway. Not with a second round rematch against Seton Hall.

Texas is 2 of their last 5 with wins against Rice and Texas Tech, and double digit losses to OU and OSU.

Duke is 3 of their last 5 with wins against mighty Wofford, Boston College and Wake Forest, and double digit losses to NCSt and Miami.

Both are young teams with little post-season experience.

              I like our chances.

I must have missed that while I enjoyed watching the last 10 minutes of the Miami/duke game. Miami was penetrating at will.

ESPN has us back at the 4 line. Number 15 overall. Would love to see us get to the 3 line by season end

And Kentucky had lost what 9 times going into the tournament last year? Did you feel good about our chances then lol? Both UT and Duke are young, but they have a lot of talent. They are dangerous teams (they both beat up on some pretty good teams this weekend). I like our experience and backcourt vs theirs, but it is pretty well documented that size is this teams one kryptonite and both those teams have size

                          Duke frontcourt
                          Okafor - 6'11" 270 lbs
                          Jfferson - 6'9" 215 lbs
                          Plumlee - 7' 255 lbs

                          Texas frontcourt
                          Holmes - 6'8" 240 lbs
                          Lammert - 6'9" 240 lbs
                          Turner - 6'11" 240 lbs
                          Ridley - 6'9" 285 lbs
                          Ibeh - 6'10" 260 lbs

In Palm's new bracket, dated today so it surely includes yesterday's results, St. John's moves up 2 seed lines....after blowing a 10pt lead at DePaul. I just don't get that. And that is a St John's team that is 1-4 in league play....so not like they were on a roll before this. Add in he moved Utah down a seed line from 3 to 4 after losing (okay, getting smacked) to Arizona, while moving West Virginia up 2 seeds to a 3....after losing by 27 at Texas. I would think beating OU soundly was negated by losing so badly to Texas. I know its just numbers thrown out there, but those are 2 that really stuck out to me.

                              If we're gonna be a 4/5, I love Lunardi's bracket.

Move us to the three line and I'd love it, too. In the Elite 8, where it belongs.
