  • so, lunardi has us in the west regional as a #5, with UNI in the south as a #4.
jerry palm has us both in the midwest, with UNI as a 4 and the shocks as a 7.

seems that, in past years, lunardi changed his brackets drastically in the last 10 days or so to conform to reality. haven't seen much of that this year.

curious to see who's more accurate.

(I'd gladly take a 6 or 7 seed if it meant a matchup with KU)
Dominance is a state of mind.

                • I got 14 of the first 17 teams seeds right I believe I missed Maryland by 1 (had as a 3) and you guys by 2 (had you as a 5) Had Indiana as 11 and they got a 10

I kick myself because I knew this could happen with lack of top 5 wins I thought Maryland could fall to a 4 and either UNC or Baylor would rise to a 3 and it happened

I came in here a week ago and said you guys would be a 5-7 but everyone had you guys as a 5 but I really felt your resume was a 6 or 7 but don't mistake that with me thinking your team is that low.

I think your team is worthy of 5 seed but your paper just wasn't there but I thought they would give you more credit for your lack of losses but I am fine with you as a 7 beat Indiana and Kansas!

                    • 7 seed? Forget about the possibility of facing KU, it's the principal of the matter. No way we are a freakin' 7 seed, a 5 yes, a 7 no.

Once again, the committee punks us.

                      • Sad thing is that out of the teams in the bottom of the bracket, even as a 7 seed we are probably the bigger threat to UK than the 2 seed. And the #3, Notre Dame, is getting upset like all the other all offense, no defense teams (Duke/Missouri a few years ago). The only real threats to UK going to the Final Four are us and Maryland. Almost certain we were moved down for the story though.

                            • I sucked this year on teams only got 66/68 but got a lot of seeds right or within 1 and I had Ole Miss as #69 so I get them getting in and I had Temple #68 so I barely missed that but I had UCLA #71 that is the one I am mad about I would have NEVER got them in.

                              Ironic Ohio State played VCU
