I heard from a source, that Shaq had "the best practice of his career" on Friday. (EDIT: As I say that, Fred says it in the post-game interview.)

Looks like it corresponded with playing time.

I have now way of knowing what all transpired but I suspect Shaq probably received some more than gentle nudging from back home to get his ass in gear and take advantage of the wonderful opportunities that are available to him.

We need Shaq. 3 blocks in one game by a big. Has to be a season high. Best vision of the bigs. FREE THROW shooting is solid for a big. We need him to have a chance of deep tourney run.
