A little disappointed that Kelly only took one shot from the field in 21 minutes. Onky two games as a starter, but that doesn't make much of a case for him starting at the four instead of Wessel. We need our PF getting more free throw attempts.

Having said that, 5 points and 5 rebounds on 100% shooting from the field and FT line is still a solid effort..

Only 1 turnover by the Shocks in the 2nd half and 5 overall. That's good. Drake only had 7 turnovers and they usually have way more than that. That's bad

What I've noticed a lot lately is that we're not getting deep into the passing lanes anymore and are rarely getting those turnovers that result in easy transition scores. We were getting A LOT of that early. The competition has been better, which is probably part of it, but I expected to turn Drake over pretty badly this game and we didn't.

The rebounding is just... wow.

Yep. Take another 4 points off the board for Drake and it looks a little better.

The guards are taking all of the shots. They need to work him into the offense more and Fred needs to do what got him all of his notoriety and start making those sick passes for easy shots.

Its gotta be hard for a freshman to try and look for his shot. His trey though felt like a bottle of water in the Sahara.

Gregg said that he has some new rebounding drills that he's going to use when they get back. He said that the players were going to have bruises (from the rebounding drills).

No worse than anyone else talks to the officials. More of the watch this guy and see what he is doing with his reaching and so on and so forth
