      Speaking from the numbers, Playing at Loyola, UNI, Evansville, and Illinois State will be tough games as will UNI at home. 14-4 or 15-3 usually wins the league. As bad as the bottom half of the Valley is, the top 5 are as good/better than any of our opponents in the MVC last year…and we aren't as strong.

                          Now projecting 15-3 in Valley play, which I could see happening, depending on a number of factors. Sunday's game in frozen Chicago may give us a clue.

                          Warren Nolan is more optimistic from a WSU standpoint, though, projecting 17-1, with the UNIs second at 15-3. (Also helpful in Warren Nolan that both Alabama and -- surprise! -- Tulsa have squeezed into his RPI top 50.)
