X gets screwed by the clock operator as he starts the clock as X was letting the free throw fall to the ground to position their players on the catch and pass the clock starts before they touch it causes them to have to inbounds the ball so Providence gets to set their D and they never get off a shot (I realize they could have benefited from this as well but they didn't instead it took away a good strategic play)

As for the other 3, sure, Hawaii was less than what we hoped Nebraska would be, Memphis is a bit of a disappointment, and St. Louis went from a prediction of "so-so" to actually being "really bad".
You know what all that means? There have been pleasant surprises (Utah/Tulsa/SH) and a few disappointments (those I just mentioned above). Altogether, things have averaged out about as expected. Whining about bad luck when you get a cummulative result in-line with the odds... Well, that type of whinning gets old real quickly.
WSU's Non-conf SOS is the best it's been in over a decade. KenPom ranks it as the #32 NCSOS in the country. Last year's was ranked 96. Quit complaining.
