      This is your song?

"The Streak" is from the album called Boogity Boogity and was Ray Stevens' eleventh studio album, released in 1974, as well as his sixth for Barnaby Records...

      • A&M and Alabama keep putting runs on each other, with A&M hanging well. 'Bama up by 9 with just under 11.

        • Alabama running A&M out of the gym. Up 61-40 with under 2 minutes left. Bama could be a top 3 or 4 team in the SEC.

          • New Mexico St closing out New Mexico Highlands 71-60 with 3:30 to play.

Would be 3 in a row and 4 of 5.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

              • Bama has a huge 2 game road trip ahead (@ Vols, @ SC). Split that and they're in contention for an at-large/top 50 finish. Sweep it, and things are looking great.

Of course, 0-2 would mean same ol Tide.

Bama has not done well on the road this season. True?

I think they have something like 1 or 2 true road wins in the last 24 months.

                    So, yeah.

                    • Creighton is hosting DePaul tonight. It will be interesting to see who is the worst team in the Big East tonight. DePaul looks slightly improved lately.

Meanwhile, Loyola is closing in on the top 50. A win tonight at Evansville, and I bet they will get there.

I am enjoying watching Loyola's ascension coincide with the average performance CU has put up so far. I might get started on a nice little trophy to send CU's way at the end of this season... Just a nice wooden trophy that says "big east conference, 10th place. RPI 150". And underneath that, I might go ahead and add "Loyola Chicago, RPI 50."

Or maybe I should give that trophy to the visionary scientist of conference affiliation orchestration, the Great Doug Elgin.

Who knew that Doug Elgin had a son who lives in Wichita?

I listened to most of the game on my drive home last night so it wasn't clear why Mississippi gave you guys such fits, how'd they do it?

Maybe you might want to wait until AFTER our game with Loyola before deciding to do anything. I love the Shocks but recently consistent play has not been one of our hallmarks.
