Sorry for the bump.
I randomly came across this pic illustrating the directional orientation of the court at CKA as compared to the building as a whole, and thought it was of relevance to the convo in this thread about potential suite/skybox additions. The court is not orientated N-S, or E-W; as can be seen it lies somewhere between.

Not sure if you notice the two logos in the bottom corners of that picture, but one of them is a national architecture firm, and the other a local architecture firm. The picture is a conceptual drawing put out by one or both of those firms.
Pretty sure the tunnel location seen on that end of the arena was ultimately modified to what we see today.Comment

While the seating charts on goshockers.com make it appear the tunnel is true north
The reality is, IIRC, the entrance at the lower level of the arena on the north side lines up with the tunnel, which in the pic below puts it more NNW. The entrance is just to the right of the cooling towers at the bottom center of this pic.

It has been a while since I've been down there, but I believe the exterior overhead door you can just make out to the right of the cooling towers in your pic lines directly up with the visitor's tunnel.
