Looks like Jans is taking Marshall's game to BG. 10 players played in the first half. 10 players scored. Balanced scoring, 11 assists, 6 steals, 4 blocks, 2 TO's. Only difference from what we're used to seeing is BG is down 2 boards (13 - 11). 47 - 31 at the half.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades. We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.
Its alot like watching Wichita State with less talented players. Many of the same sets and presses. BG has a big guy with the last name of Holmes. He could play at Wichita State.
Two of Drake's best players are sitting out 3-game suspensions for receiving impermissible benefits under Phelps. Back then, getting good coaching at Drake was considered an impermissible benefit.

I sure that explains some of it, but Drake out scored BG 10-2 over the last 5 minutes to keep it at a 19 point loss. BG also played 15, Drake played 9 (maybe that's all they had available).
UNI only won by 12 at home against North Dakota? This isn't North Dakota State mind you, which is a decent little school, but North Dakota. They were favored by like 25.
Looks like UNI is going back to ugly, grindy style basketball, or simply they aren't going to be as good as advertised. It's one game though.
I just don't see any way they hang close with VCU or Iowa, which are the only two games worth a damn on their non-con schedule.
Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

Sometime this year, and maybe many more times than 1, WSU is going to obliterate a Valley opponent. Bradley is looking like the baby gazelle with the broken foot right now, but several other Valley teams are praying it's not going to be them. WSU will come out and make a statement early, blistering someone by 25+ at the half, and then all these talented freshmen are going to want to make their mark and prove they are ready for the post season run and it's going to be a 107-48 type final, or worse.
And if someone wants to try and play up tempo with the Shocks.......hide the women and children.

Didn't Detroit try to run with us 2 years ago? Hopefully they still play that style...
