I mean, the shadow government's.

Then you plop the new, shiny, 'normal' DT arena down right across Main from WW (one of the original, suggested sites) and DT Wichita would actually have a level of developmental synergy it has never seen. Sadly, none of this happened. What actually happened was the worst case scenario in all regards, courtesy of the people who draw a check to supposedly further this community.
Edit: I am so thankful for President Bardo who is a visionary and leader on steroids. His work is not only going to benefit WSU but the entire community.ShockerNet is a rat infested cess pool.

As much as I hate to admit that my beloved city is a blue collar attitude city it just is. We support a great number of worthy projects such as the Lords Diner and the United Way and look at our YMCA system. But when it comes to the city and public projects a vocal few? determine the course of the many. Listen to the outcry when it comes to making a public project a little more beholding to the eye. Concrete and steel will do and we don't need to gussy it up with any artwork or landscaping. Listen to the few howl over the light/sculpture at Meridian and River Blvd. Would strong leadership have saved the Water Walk project? The officials are elected officials for the most part and they are aware of the vocal ones. Its the rest of us that carry some of the burden by not being as vocal about our wants and desires. As far as the downtown arena I'm just glad it isn't a mud hut that holds 15,000.

We thought they should have built it OVER the river. That would have been some awesome engineering.

It seems pretty simple to me.
For whatever area one lives in, a purchaser of a TV service evaluates the available options and usually chooses only one. That choice may be made taking into consideration factors such as price, quality, number of TVs, capacity of the DVR, and programming choices.
If you are hell bent to see the Shockers, choose that provider. If other factors are more important, choose the other providers. It is up to you.
Now if you live in an area that doesn't have an option that includes the Shockers, there isn't much you can do."I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. I like to win more than 99.9% of the people in this world, but he may top me." -- Gregg Marshall 12/23/13 :peaceful:

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".
A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."
