Is Jim Calhoun really considering going to Boston College?

The ACC is getting kind of scary from a coaching talent standpoint if that happens.

I wonder who Wake Forest will look to hire.

That would be an interesting hire.

I wonder if someone will try to snag Nebraska's coach away?

Wouldn't be a bad idea. Obviously has the pedigree and his team was solid this year.

I'd be a bit hesitant about hiring a coach based on one tourney year with the top three scorers as seniors, but that's never seemed to stop anyone in the past.

HC3G has to at least be on their list. But they'd probably be better off hiring a good AD before they try to hire a good basketball coach.

@jerrymeyer247: Hearing from multiple sources that Shaka Smart to Marquette is after all very likely to happen and happen soon.

                            Wow.

I think Illinois would have been better for him IMHO.

Their board already has a 4-page topic on this that started 45 minutes ago. Sounds like it's gonna happen.

Wake Forest would seem to be a better fit for Shaka.
